The included RT-110 remote pairs with your smartphone via the NEEWER Teleprompter App, available free on iOS (11.0 and above) and Android (6.0 and above). Once connected inside the app, you can start/stop, pause, speed up or slow down scrolling, and turn pages of your script with simple button presses—ideal when you’re shooting solo or working with a small crew. This setup makes it easy to adapt to real-time changes, retakes, and timing requirements during interviews, online courses, or sales presentations.​

Important: The remote must be linked inside the NEEWER Teleprompter App, not via your phone’s standard Bluetooth settings, ensuring stable control and proper functionality while recording.​

Compatibility & usage

The X14 works with DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, and camcorders mounted via a standard 1/4″ screw, making it a great match for popular Sony, Canon, Nikon, and other video setups available at GRI. The tablet/phone holder supports devices up to 8.7″ wide, including 12.9″ iPad Pro, 11″ iPad Pro, iPad, iPad mini, and many Android tablets and smartphones (case removal recommended for 12.9″ iPad Pro).​

The beam splitter glass frame can tilt up to 135° so you can adjust the viewing angle to your standing or seated position, ensuring comfortable reading during long sessions. The recommended reading range is up to 3m (approximately 10 feet), making it ideal for small studios, offices, co-working spaces, and home production setups in Chandigarh. Note that the teleprompter is not compatible with very wide-angle lenses—your lens focal length should be longer than 28mm to avoid vignetting and distortion.​
