DJI Avata 2 Drone with Operator on rent in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Zirakpur, Ludhiana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh

The DJI Avata 2 is an exciting update to DJI’s FPV drone lineup, building on the success of the original Avata with several notable improvements. Released in early 2024, this drone is designed for both beginners and experienced pilots who want an immersive flying experience with advanced cinematic capabilities.

The DJI Avata 2 is the latest evolution in DJI’s FPV drone series, offering cutting-edge technology and enhanced features that take the immersive flying experience to new heights. Designed for aerial enthusiasts and professional filmmakers alike, the Avata 2 combines an upgraded camera system, improved flight performance, and advanced goggles to deliver unparalleled control and cinematic potential.

Key Features:

  • Camera and Imaging: The Avata 2 features an upgraded 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, which allows for 48MP photos and 4K video recording. This is coupled with DJI’s RockSteady 3.0+ and HorizonSteady for smooth, stabilized footage, making it an excellent choice for aerial cinematography.
  • Flight Performance: The drone comes with slightly larger propellers than its predecessor, improving flight performance and stability, especially in tight spaces. It also includes a “Turtle Mode,” which allows the drone to flip over and continue flying if it ends up upside down after a crash.
  • Goggles 3 and Transmission: The new DJI Goggles 3, included with the Avata 2, feature the O4 transmission system, offering stronger and more stable connections, as well as real-world passthrough capabilities. This means you can easily switch between the flight view and your immediate surroundings without removing the goggles, enhancing safety and convenience.
  • Build Quality: The Avata 2 is built to be resilient, with rotor guards that protect the propellers during minor crashes. However, more significant impacts could still result in damage that might require repairs, as the drone’s ecosystem is more closed off than the original, limiting self-repair options.

Key Upgrades from the Original DJI Avata:

  • Enhanced Camera System: The Avata 2 is equipped with a larger 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, compared to the original Avata’s smaller sensor. This upgrade allows for capturing stunning 48MP still photos and 4K video at higher frame rates, resulting in crisper, more detailed images and smoother footage. The drone also integrates DJI’s latest stabilization technologies, RockSteady 3.0+ and HorizonSteady, ensuring ultra-smooth video even during high-speed maneuvers.
  • Improved Flight Performance: The Avata 2 introduces slightly larger propellers and a refined design, enhancing stability and agility, especially in challenging environments. The drone is built to withstand minor impacts, with protective rotor guards that help prevent damage during accidental bumps or crashes. Additionally, the new “Turtle Mode” allows the drone to flip back upright after a crash, a feature not available in the original Avata.
  • Advanced Goggles 3 and O4 Transmission: The new DJI Goggles 3 that come with the Avata 2 feature the O4 transmission system, a significant improvement over the O3+ system used in the first Avata. This enhancement provides a more stable and stronger connection, ensuring a seamless FPV experience. The Goggles 3 also include a real-world passthrough mode, enabling users to switch between the FPV view and their immediate surroundings without removing the goggles.
  • User Experience: While the original Avata was a game-changer in the FPV world, the Avata 2 pushes the boundaries even further by making it easier for both beginners and advanced users to capture high-quality footage. The drone is designed with a focus on safety and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to explore the world of FPV flying.

With these upgrades, the DJI Avata 2 stands out as a versatile and powerful tool for both aerial cinematography and immersive FPV adventures. Whether you’re capturing dynamic sports action or exploring creative aerial perspectives, the Avata 2 delivers a superior flying experience with unmatched image quality and control

DJI Goggles 3
This Fly More Combo version of the DJI Avata 2 includes the DJI Goggles 3 headset, giving you the ability to virtually jump into the cockpit of the drone for an immersive first-person experience. This experience centers around a live video feed sent to built-in micro-OLED displays that produce a brilliant 1080p image at a smooth 100 fps. Thanks to O4 video transmission technology, this feed can be received from up to 8.1 miles away. Other features include a one-tap defogging function for dealing with adverse weather conditions and Real View PiP, which embeds a picture-in-picture screen to make you aware of your surroundings without having to take off the headset.

DJI RC Motion 3
This Fly More Combo version of the DJI Avata 2 includes the DJI RC Motion 3 controller, a single-handed controller that works with the Goggles 3 to give you an intuitive and realistic flying experience. Unlike traditional controllers, the RC Motion 3 pilots the drone with simple hand and wrist movements. These gestures not only operate the Avata 2 but also the Goggles 3 menu system. Overlaying an AR cursor onto the menu, you can easily highlight, select, and adjust camera settings and other functions.

Professional Imaging
Sporting a 1/1.3″ image sensor, the Avata 2 offers effective low-light performance, the capture of stills at up to 12MP, and up to 4K HDR resolution videos. Choose between three different fields of view to accommodate your particular project and piloting style: normal angle, wide angle, and 155° ultrawide angle. Professionals will enjoy 10-bit D-Log M support, which retains more highlights and details to provide more flexibility when it comes time to edit and color grade.

Stabilized Footage
Steady footage from a fast-paced FPV drone like the Avata 2 can be nearly impossible to achieve, which is why DJI incorporates the RockSteady and HorizonSteady features. RockSteady is designed for pure stabilization to compensate for high speeds and windy conditions. HorizonSteady is a more specific stabilization in that it locks onto the horizon during horizontal rotation up to 360°

Considerations:

While the Avata 2 is highly capable, it does have some drawbacks. The closed ecosystem makes self-repairs difficult, meaning you might have to rely on DJI for repairs, which could lead to downtime. Additionally, while the new AR features in the Goggles 3 are innovative, they may not be as useful as advertised for some users.
